此尊头戴花冠，髮髻高耸。额宽颐丰，弯眉与鼻胫相连，眼睑微垂，相容沉静慈祥。四臂观音的造型每一庄严皆有所表，一头表通达法性，四臂表四无量心，身白色表清洁无垢，不为烦恼、所知二障所障。头戴宝冠表五智，髮黑色表不染，五色天衣表五方佛，双跏趺表不住生死，手印表不住涅。又中央二手合十表智慧与方便合一双运，另右手水晶念珠，表每拨一珠即救度一众生出脱轮回，左手持白莲花，表清静无恼。台座饰有两道链珠，莲瓣宽肥舒展。宝冠、项链及钏环镶嵌松石等，部分已遗失，造型为十五至十六世纪西藏金铜造像的样式，体现了藏族匠师的审美情趣和工艺特色。

This　figure　of　four-armed　Avalokitesvara　is　seated　on　a　double　lotus　pedestal　with　beaded　borders.　The　two　principal　hands　are　folded　in　front　of　the　chest　in　respectful　salutation,　while　the　others　originally　hold　emblems.　He　wears　a　five-pointed　crown　and　a　voluminous　Dhoti,　adorned　with　armlets,　necklaces,　and　earrings,　particular　inlaid　with　gemstones.
